Our Work

Local Collaboration

The Henry’s Fork Foundation works closely with area organizations, businesses and interest groups to ensure the sustainability of the Henry’s Fork ecosystem: its land, water, wildlife, fisheries, and aesthetic qualities.

Watershed Center

The Henry’s Fork Watershed Center opened in May 1995 to provide opportunities for various groups and individuals to understand the watershed’s resources and preserve it as one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

Wild Trout Tracking

Occasionally, in partnership with its ecological and restoration efforts tracking different species of trout in the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, HFF members are given the opportunity to sponsor a trout and to receive personalized information on their fish movement and status.

Ecological & Restoration

Research projects provide a scientific basis for management and decision-making and support the Henry’s Fork Foundation's restoration efforts throughout the watershed.

Scholarships & Internships

The HFF presents a number of educational programs to provide information and hands-on learning to watershed users. These groups include grade school students, fishing clubs, rotary clubs, chambers of commerce and more.
