Letter from the Director
Welcome to the Henry’s Fork Foundation.
Since 1984 the Henry’s Fork Foundation has been exclusively dedicated to the conservation, restoration, and protection of the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River and its watershed. Our experience and knowledge regarding the river, the landscape, fish and wildlife, and the challenges that they face are matched only by our willingness, and our proven ability, to do whatever is necessary to fulfill our mission. This watershed and its natural resources have no more steadfast guardians than the members, supporters, staff, and directors of the Henry’s Fork Foundation.
Please take a moment to explore this website. Here you will find out who we are, how we operate, and what we do, from our origins to the latest project news and even future dates. Just as importantly, though, you will also find a wealth of information about this watershed, and in doing so you will get a taste of what it is that has inspired our work for more than a quarter of a century, and continues to inspire us every day.
If you are a member of the Henry’s Fork Foundation, thank you. If you are not yet a member, please join. We depend on the generosity of our members to keep the Foundation on the job for the watershed, and we need your support, too.
Thank you!
Steve Trafton
